If you were to look lap dog up in the dictionary you should see a picture of this sweet girl. Toupie is a Silky Terrier that will turn 10 years old November .

She is a gorgeous girl that wants to please and she is happiest when she is cuddling with her owner. She tolerates other dogs but does not like cats or children so she would be best suited in a home that she is the only pet or a home that has a smaller non aggressive dog. She does great when she is groomed which is required regularly and is also kennel trained.

she is fully housetrained with the schedule she is on but is VERY stubborn in bad weather. She gets along great with dogs as long as they are her energy level or less. She has no time for high strung young'uns :) She has never shown any possessiveness for me with other people or dogs so that could be removed.

Health wise she is active & as agile as a cat, her little bones creak & groan which the vet mentioned glucosamine may help but that doesn't stop her from jumping up & down on the couch like a pup. Since I have had her & her previous owner confirmed, she itches constantly & scoots her bum, the vet thinks it is probably allergies to something

Most of her life Toupie has been an indoor dog so she can be a bit nervous getting used to new sounds and experiences. She does not like loud noises or fast movements. For example if someone is riding a bike past her she will jump, bark & try to run after. She does good on walks but if she is on a yard lead or a walking leash and she reaches the end she will try to pull herself out of her collar or harness to keep going so she will need to be monitored closely at all times.

Toupie is spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines. She will be micro-chipped and have her rabies vaccine before being adopted.
